The Philosophy of Space in Scent

"When I create fragrance, I always try to leave a sense of space within it," says SARI. "It’s about embracing nature’s subtlety, creating fragrances that evoke feeling and invite personal interpretation."This approach is inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of ma (space) and seijaku (stillness), principles rooted in Zen philosophy. For ametsuchi’s signature Hinoki blend, SARI set out to balance brightness and calm, expressing the serenity of still forests and soft light. Especially crafted for the American climate, where humidity and sunlight differ, the scent is designed to leave a vivid yet quiet impression."As in Zen, the most lasting impressions are often the most subtle."

Redefining Japanese Beauty for a Global Audience

Inspired by founder Yumi’s vision of sharing refined Japanese care with the U.S., SARI infused every formula with both intention and emotion. She reimagined the future of Japanese beauty by pairing traditional botanicals like Hinoki, Yuzu, and Kuromoji with globally familiar notes such as rose and cassis.
"I imagined fragrance as a seasonal flower in a tea room, purposefully placed, quietly present, and deeply moving."

A clean, tranquil scent inspired by forest air. Crisp verbena lifts the brightness, while kuromoji brings earthy depth an everyday ritual that transforms hair care into a sensory escape.

Yuzu Hand Serum
Light and refreshing, like a winter morning. Japanese yuzu is layered with bergamot, lemon, and petitgrain, finished with the gentle sweetness of ylang ylang. A mindful touch of citrus-infused moisture.

Established 2012 - Natural fragrance brand from Japan.
A perfumer who has been playing music since childhood,She encountered the fragrance of plants and experienced the connection with scenes and memories.
The brand is a natural fragrance that plays with the intrinsic 'echoes' of nature.
The perfumer began experimenting with extraction and preparation of fragrances that play with the "echoes" inherent in nature. There are unique materials and incense culture in Japan. There are  the historical perfume culture in the West. The work is characterised by an interweaving of their respective charms.
Kahori (scent) is as accidental and marginal as the wind. That is why we take pleasure in the resonance with people, and hope to deliver it to each and every one of them.
